We are seeking compassionate and driven individuals to join our team as Adaptive Skills Trainers. In this role, you will provide individualized, community-based support tailored to each participant’s behavior goals and individualized service plan focusing on a person centered approach. Your focus will be on helping clients develop adaptive and vocational skills in real-world settings.This position is a great opportunity for individuals looking for BCBA supervision hours or a Paid Internship.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Human Services, Counseling or a related field preferred. Intern position applicants must be able to show proof of current school enrollment.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles desired
- Experience working with children/adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities is desired
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Completion of 40 hours Registered Behavior Technician training within the first 30 days of employment
- Valid driver’s license
- CPR/First Aid
- Must have the ability to pass health screening and tuberculosis skin test.
- Pass FBI/DOJ background clearance through Live Scan
