Provide 1:1 ABA intervention strategies to support individuals diagnosed with Autism and related disorders.
At Autonomous Behavior Solutions the Behavior Therapist will be responsible for the following:
- Implementing Behavior Intervention Plans created by a Board Certified Behavior Analysts and Clinical Supervisors.
- Ensuring client and family is supported in meeting all aspects of the behavioral program.
- Collect, report, and maintain data on client’s progress.
- Receive direction and provide feedback to the clinical team to help support the companies growth and development.
- Participate in ongoing training.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree and educational coursework completed in the areas of: Child Development, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
- Enthusiastic team members with a desire to support and guide children and families.
- A minimum of 1 year working with children with special needs is preferred.
- Willingness to join a growing company with a vast potential for growth.
- Valid CA driver’s license or reliable transportation required.
- Must pass TB test.
- Must pass criminal background check/fingerprinting clearance.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Flexible Availability Monday-Friday for up to 15-20 hours per week between 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM and Saturdays from 9 AM – 3 PM. Must be available at least 3 days per week during weekdays, including Saturdays.
- Flexible, Part-time positions available that require that all Therapists be available a minimum of 15 hours on weekdays during the hours
- Therapists are eligible for sick days in accordance with state law
- Therapists may be eligible to accrue BCBA or BCaBA supervision hours under the direct supervision of BCBA.
