STUDENT ASSISTANT #116 – Identity & Access Management (ITS)
Position Description
The CSU Office of the Chancellor is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Student Assistant to provide clerical support up to twenty hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
The anticipated salary for this position is $22.00 per hour.
The salary range for this classification is $16.50 to $24.00 per hour.
Duties
Under direct supervision, the Student Assistant will perform various clerical tasks to support the department. Typical duties include maintaining files and records; copying and collating a variety of documents; mailing; scanning; providing telephone backup; and other departmental support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
The student assistant must be enrolled in at least six (6) units at a CSU campus. This position requires basic experience in an office environment, a working knowledge of current software applications such as Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel, familiarity with both PC and Mac computers, the ability to learn and perform assigned tasks, the capability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities, independence in work, and good organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
