COPE Health Scholars program is a hands-on clinical experience program. Health Scholars play a vital role in supporting patient care, improving patient experience, and assisting clinical staff. Scholars rotate through assigned hospital units and perform non-clinical and clinical-support tasks under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ambulation, transport, comfort measures, etc.)
Support nursing and clinical staff with non-invasive patient care tasks
Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and hospital staff
Assist with unit organization, stocking, and clerical support
Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and HIPAA regulations
Maintain professionalism and accountability during all shifts
Qualifications

Minimum age requirement: 18 years old

Ability to commit to required shifts per month

Active health care insurance through out program participation
- Minimum 2.5 GPA

Must successfully complete background check, drug screening, health clearance, and onboarding requirements
