Video Production Intern
Composition Program, Department of English
California State University, Long Beach
One Semester Internship
CSULB’s Composition Program is hiring a video production intern for the Spring 2027 semester. The intern will support #TheBeachWrites social media platforms by coordinating and producing video content featuring students, faculty, writing, and campus life at CSULB. Working collaboratively with content creators, the intern will focus on the technical and logistical aspects of video production, including location scouting, filming, audio recording, and organizing video assets.
#TheBeachWrites is the Composition Program’s social media space where we celebrate writing at CSULB, beginning with the work students do in freshman composition and extending to writing across the university. Our goal is to build a community where every student can see themselves as a writer, no matter their major or the kinds of writing they do. On #TheBeachWrites, we 1) share program information along with tips and stories from students, 2) highlight the many ways students and faculty use and talk about writing at CSULB, and 3) invite the campus community to share their voices and connect with writing beyond the classroom.
