What You Can Expect

As an intern on the Indirect Procurement team, you’ll be part of a dynamic group that supports sourcing and supplier management across a wide range of categories including IT, CAD/EDA, Equipment, HR, Marketing, Facilities, and Professional Services. You’ll work closely with experienced procurement professionals and cross-functional stakeholders to help optimize spend, improve supplier performance, and support strategic initiatives. Your contributions will help shape sourcing decisions, improve operational efficiency, and support procurement’s role as a trusted business partner.

  • Help track and analyze spend data to identify savings opportunities.
  • Support sourcing activities including market research, supplier identification, and RFP/RFI development.
  • Assist in supplier evaluations and contract reviews.
  • Collaborate with category managers to support sourcing strategies and supplier negotiations.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings to understand business needs and procurement’s role in enabling success.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and procurement automation efforts.
  • Learn procurement systems and tools such as spend analytics platforms and contract management systems.
  • Gain exposure to procurement policies, compliance requirements, and risk management practices.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or other related fields with an anticipated graduation date between Winter 2026 and Spring 2027
  • Familiarity working with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Analytical mindset with strong Excel and data analysis skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with procurement or ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, Ariba, Coupa)
  • Prior internship or project experience in a corporate environment
