Overview

OSI Systems and its subsidiaries is a vertically integrated provider of specialized electronic systems and for components that meet the critical needs in the homeland security, healthcare, defense, and aerospace industries. As a global company, we are dedicated to developing solutions for our customers and the people they serve to lead the way to a safer and healthier world.

 

In partnership with the South Bay Workforce Investment Board (SBWIB), OSI Systems is offering internship opportunities to individuals who are interested in gaining entry-level work experience in our industry. We currently have internships available in the following departments:

 

  • Accounting/Finance
  • Human Resources (Hawthorne)
  • Human Resources (Torrance)
  • Marketing
  • Facilities
  • Travel Administration

All resumes received will be forwarded to the SBWIB for review and consideration.

Responsibilities

  • Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

In order to qualify for an internship through the SBWIB you must:

  • Be a resident of one of the following cities: Carson, Inglewood, Lennox, Gardena, Torrance, Lomita, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, Hawthorne, Lawndale or El Segundo.
  • Be between the ages of 18-24.
  • Have the legal right to work in the U.S.
