INTERNSHIP IN HEALTHCARE AND PATIENT CARE

Our acupuncture wellness center focuses on helping individuals perform at their very best by restoring their health to their optimum using acupuncture, holistic modalities and exercise physiology approaches. We are looking for students in Physical Therapy, Health Science, or other healthcare-related majors who want hands-on experience to join our team and make a difference in patient care.
An intern’s job duties include assisting the doctor and staff with patient care (modalities set-up, health evaluation, and note-taking as necessary). You will be taught to assist with physical exams and administer rehabilitation as needed. Interns will be cross-trained with administrative duties and will assist with the maintenance of the office.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT is a 6-month commitment with at least three 4-hour shifts per week. An average of 12 hours minimum per week, 16 hours recommended. The shift times are AM (9am-1pm) and/or PM (2pm-6pm).
Requirements:
1) Students provide their own scrubs
2) Familiar with the Internet, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Gmail
