American Medical Womens Association

The American Medical Women’s Association is the most prestigious women’s medical organization on the national level. At CSULB, the AMWA chapter connect students with a network of women medical professionals, admissions members and academics throughout the United States, with strong focus on mentorship, leadership, career opportunities, internships, scholarships, research opportunities, education and networking for pre-med and pre-health students on campus. Also, we will address specific national and global issues for women which includes: women’s gynecological health, women’s health in impoverished communities, sex trafficking, balancing family for women in medicine, women’s access to healthcare, and career assistance. All students are welcome to apply for leadership positions.
