The LGBTQ+ Veterinary Medical Community

PrideSVMC (formerly Broad Spectrum Student Veterinary Medical Association) is the student-run arm of the Pride Veterinary Medical Community. The PrideVMC fosters acceptance and inclusivity for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities within the veterinary profession. PrideVMC offers support and mentorship, and is the fiscal sponsor of the national PrideSVMC.

All campus chapters of PrideSVMC are independent entities that fall under university rules and regulations. The national PrideSVMC board helps guide individual chapters by offering chapter grants and hosting the PrideSVMC Annual Meeting at the SAVMA Symposium.
